Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies

Life is all about balance and that means chocolate chip cookies post workout are most definitely acceptable!

I am trying to decide if I want to start training for another half marathon but for now I’m trying to decide if I should have 2 or 3 cookies! Haha, life is so funny!

These chocolate chip cookies are HUGE and CHEWY

There is NO chilling required!

You CAN melt the butter, but they turn out more fluffy when you have it softened at room temp!

These cookies are soft, thick, filled with chocolate chips and a dense buttery dough baked into a heavy, milk-loving cookie!

Side note–the dough is heaven!!! I probably eat a cookie’s worth of just the dough…don’t even get me started with Trevor’s dough addiction! I have to kick him out of the kitchen when I bake these or he will eat the entire bowl!

I am going to go cozy up on the couch with a big glass of milk and a few cookies and watch my new favorite TV series on Netflix, Girl Boss!

All you girls out there, go be bo$$y and whip up some of these fab cookies!

3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies (flourless)

These 3 ingredient peanut butter cookies are gluten free, easy to make, and delicious!! This recipe has been in my family for years, and I vow to keep the recipe going as long as I am alive! They are the best peanut butter cookies in the world. Not only are they tasty, they are also SUPER easy to make. All you need is some peanut butter, sugar, and an egg! How easy is that?!

I typically use Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter, but you can use any brand. As much as I LOVE organic PB and use it for everything, it isn’t best when it comes to baking these cookies. Stick to good ol’ Skippy (the hydrogenated oil is clutch for this recipe). I promise, it makes all the difference.

  • 1 cup Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Beat egg in large mixing bowl, then add sugar and peanut butter
  • Mix together until creamy consistency
  • Roll tablespoon size balls of dough and drop them on cookie sheet about 2 inches apart
  • Use a fork and press the dough to make a cross hatch
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes
    • Do not overbake
    • These cookies are best when they are soft and just barely brown on the bottom
  • Let cool on wire rack
  • Enjoy!

Chocolate Chip Cookies

If there is any cookie that is sure to satisfy everyone at your next family gathering it is this one!

What once started as a simple chocolate chip cookie has come full circle and maintained its simplicity but also its amazing flavor.  I can eat probably 10 of these with ice cream and milk in one sitting! Well maybe not 10..but man they are good!  I have taken a recipe from Betty Crocker that I’ve used for years and altered just one simple thing: The baking time.

Three words to describe these bad boys (as quoted by my boyfriend (Trevor):

1. Buttery
2. Balanced
3. Complete

I couldn’t agree more.

These cookies are so comforting and versatile that they can be enjoyed by all!

Be sure to check out the recipe below and spread this deliciousness to all your friends and family at your next get together. Or, just spoil your man or girlfriend; they will be so happy you did.
