Today Is Your Day
Today is your day–To start fresh, to eat right, to train hard, to live healthy, and to be proud.
Today I woke up and realized that I wanted to share a few things with you. Not only is today a Sunday, so we are getting ready to head to Church (yes, I am a Christian), but through reading my devotional this morning I realized something that can be applied to all of you around the world.
2 Chronicles 15:7 says “But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.” As always, there are multiple ways that this can be interpreted. However, as I finished eating my waffle and coffee and did this TOUGH “wake up and sweat” workout, it dawned on me. Today is your day, friends. Start fresh, regardless of what you did yesterday, work hard and don’t give up, for the work that you put in will always be rewarded.
I believe that this applies to all aspects of our lives. Whether it pertains to our career, our role as a spouse, parent, or our health, wellness and fitness journey throughout life.
Be strong and don’t give up. I promise you there are days that I don’t make it to the gym, or days where I eat nearly an entire loaf of bread or family size bag of chips…we are human. That is what makes us so beautiful.
Live healthy and be proud. You are created to do wonderful things. Share your light with the world and work hard at all that you do.
I know this may sound cliche, but I firmly believe that if you are tough and work hard towards your goals, and DON’T give up, you will be rewarded.
