Peach Streusel Muffins

Winter means cozy mornings by the fire while the snow is falling outside. At least if you live in Utah like I do, that’s what winter means! I moved to Salt Lake City a little over 2 years ago and I am finally starting to appreciate seasons. Sometimes when it is 20 degrees outside, making a fresh batch of muffins is 100% necessary. I decided to try peach streusel to channel my inner summer! I ended up having to use canned peaches (due to the fact that peaches are not being sold in grocery stores this time of year) but keep this recipe in mind for summer as well.

I think my favorite part of these muffins are the streusel…well duh! Who doesn’t love butter, flour, sugar and cinnamon?!

I hope you make these muffins and enjoy a cozy day at home this winter. Also, feel free to substitute any fruit you would like in lieu of the peaches. This recipe can be adapted for whatever you are craving!
