Picture this: It’s 2:45 pm, you’re at your cubicle, you’re beginning to feel tired, and BAM all of a sudden you are super hungry. Has this ever happened to you? Don’t lie, because I know it definitely has…It happened to me today! I wanted to share with you some of the healthy snacks I keep on hand. I won’t lie either, sometimes I don’t have a healthy snack and chips come to the rescue. However, when I can, I try to stick to healthy and nutritious choices.
All of the snacks listed above can easily be packed in a lunch box or taken on the go. I know we live in such a busy world and it can be difficult to constantly have to prepare food. There are no excuses when it comes to these snacks. They are convenient, cheap and do the body a whole lot of good.
I hope the next time you hit that 3pm slump you will reach for a rice cake, or maybe some veggies and hummus. At first it might be tough to make the healthy choice, but I promise you that once you do, you won’t regret it.
